With economical manufacturing practices in mind, we design our rectifiers with consideration for the use of industry standard components (shunts, fuses, etc.). To allow for this, IRT has chosen specific DC output voltage and current ratings to use in our design practices. The following is a list of the standard DC output voltage and current ratings that IRT rectifiers are typically designed for (see Note 1).
Important Notes:
- Due to limited physical size or other features of a particular IRT rectifier series, not all of the below ratings are applicable to all IRT rectifier series. IRT rectifier series that have limitations on the variation of DC output ratings available are the Benchmark series, C.P. Sentinel Aqua-Line series and Utility series (refer to the product information for these rectifier series for more details).
- Though other intermediate ratings are available if required, it may be more economical to choose the next available standard rating up from your specific application requirement (as additional custom design adds to the rectifier cost).
- Any of the below DC voltage ratings can be combined with any of the below DC current ratings (i.e. 24V-50A, 80V-12A, etc.).
- For ratings beyond 100 volts and/or 100 amperes, consult our Engineering Sales staff.
